Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Torq mobile application and related services. By creating an account or using Torq, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Torq
Torq is an automotive service platform that connects vehicle owners with independent service providers. Torq does not directly perform vehicle services listed by providers.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Torq.
- You are responsible for maintaining accurate account details.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and all activity under your account.
3. Use of the platform
- Use Torq lawfully and only for genuine automotive booking and service purposes.
- Do not misuse the platform, attempt unauthorised access, or disrupt service.
- Do not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent booking or profile information.
4. Bookings and provider services
Torq provides tools for discovering providers and making bookings. Any service contract for automotive work is between the customer and the provider. Providers are responsible for service quality, legal compliance, pricing transparency, and completing booked work.
5. Payments and subscriptions
Some features may require a paid subscription. Billing and in-app purchases are processed by RevenueCat and/or relevant app store providers. Subscription renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled according to the relevant store or billing provider terms.
6. User content and data
You retain ownership of content you submit (for example profile details, vehicle data, and booking notes). You grant Torq a non-exclusive licence to use this content for operating, improving, and securing the service. Personal data is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, misuse the service, or create security or legal risk. You may stop using Torq at any time and request account deletion by contacting hello@gettorq.app.
8. Disclaimers and liability
Torq is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the platform, including disputes between users and providers.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email. Continued use of Torq after updates take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

11. App Store additional terms
If you downloaded the Torq app from the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply and take precedence over any conflicting term above in respect of your use of the app on Apple-branded products:
- This EULA is concluded between you and Torq Group Ltd only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Torq Group Ltd, not Apple, is solely responsible for the Torq app and its content. This EULA does not provide for usage rules that conflict with Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions.
- Your licence to use the app is a non-transferable licence to use it on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, and as permitted by Apple's Usage Rules, except that the app may also be accessed and used by other accounts associated with you via Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
- Torq Group Ltd, not Apple, is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services for the app. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services for the app.
- Torq Group Ltd, not Apple, is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law. In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the app to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the app, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are Torq Group Ltd's sole responsibility.
- Torq Group Ltd, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the app or your possession and/or use of it, including: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the app fails to conform to an applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
- In the event of any third-party claim that the app or your possession and use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Torq Group Ltd, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of any such claim.
- You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- You must comply with any applicable third-party agreements when using the app (for example, your wireless data service agreement), and you must not be in violation of such agreements as a result of your use of the app.
- You and Torq Group Ltd acknowledge and agree that Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA, and that, upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this EULA against you as a third-party beneficiary of it.
